Well, spring break is over and it is time to get back to work.  We have three weeks left before we begin AZ Merit testing.  Yeah! (This is sarcastic of course.)  We only have two new standards to worry about, area and perimeter, which we will teach and assess in the next two weeks.

Students were NOT given homework over spring break but will receive some tomorrow, so be expecting it in their folders tomorrow.

First thanks to all the parents who nominated me for the White Mountain Donut Party.  That was quite entertaining.  They came in during our spelling test which the students surely enjoyed.  After they all got sugar in their system, it took a bit to resume that test.  It was a good day for them for sure.  Donuts and Chocolate Milk.

This past week has been crazy.  We were a little rushed to turn in homework at the end of the day on Friday, so if they didn't turn it in then we will also collect it tomorrow.

Nobody mentioned how crazy 3rd grade would be right around the end of the semester.  This is my first Christmas show and hopefully, we won't disappoint you.  I am rather excited to see how my class as well as other third grade classes perform.  I will be making a video, but it won't be until during the break and I hope to release it on Christmas day or eve.
