Another exciting week in the third grade classroom. This past week we really hit single digit multiplication to number 6 and will be working on single digit multiplication to number 12 this coming week so if you are ever in the car driving, please practice those multiplication numbers. I taught Jr.

Another exciting week as third grade teacher. I am finally feeling comfortable with how Highland Primary works and am working on understanding the third grade mind, if that is possible. One of the many things I am learning to appreciate about third grade students is how they find joy in the most simple things and experiences. I think adults can learn a thing or two about this. A dog came to the outside of the fence during recess this week, and you would have thought third grade students had never seen a dog before. Students were crazily excited that a dog came to visit.
Another fun and exciting week teaching third grade. My appreciation for elementary teachers continues to grow. The High School was a piece of cake compared to this. I love it though.
Before getting to the blog n vlog I would like to do a shout out to all the parents who have donated money, tissues, clorox wipes, writing utensil bags and hand sanitizer. As this early cold season rolls around we are seeing a lot of sniffles and these items have helped me get started. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Another fantastic week is gone. Days are too short. Probably not for the kids, but for me. First, here is the vlog of some of the fun we had.
Most of this week was all about getting to know the students. Students practiced listening and getting to know each other. One of the things I was looking for and wanting to teach was the importance of actually listening to each other. Students were randomly partnered up and had to ask three questions.
